LAN Patron Checklist

1. Update and Patch Your Games

2. For Steam games the update cutoff is 12:00pm November 3rd. Updating past this deadline
might cause you to not be able to play the game in question dude to the server host not having the
same version of the game. DON'T BE THAT PERSON!

3. Also, for Steam users please set Steam to offline mode before you go to the LAN. This will avoid any
problems of Steam trying to connect to the internet.

4. In the case of internet style games, first of all, BRING THEM. But do not expect them to be online.
The issue of whether we will or will not have internet at this event is still currently being researched.
But in the case that we do have the internet available, you will need to sign an agreement at the event
for security purposes.

5. Bring your own computer and make sure that it is clean of viruses, malware, and other problems.

6. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, or etc. of you choose to stay overnight at the LAN.

7. Check the LAN website periodically, information may change as the event approaches.

8. Be sure that you have registered, you must register in order to participate at the LAN. Registration will
close the night before the event.

9. Bring extra power strips, ethernet cable, crossover cable, or any other LAN equipment you have to help
this event. We would greatly appreciate it.

10. Please bring your own copies of games.
